Christmas 2011

I was having a pack and happy christmas this year.... Maybe should say this year's christmas was a more proper one than before.

On 24th, the christmas eve, while everyone was having turkey meal, we were eating maggie mee at home, haha. That day we were going to sunway pyramid for shopping. The main purpose was to let my two boys experienced the christmas feel in the shopping mall, as there were a lot of events. We managed to take photo with mr santa and mrs santa. Oh, not to forget, took picture with miss santa also. Alfred and Bernard were super happy as mr santa gave them the candy and they couldn't wait to eat it. ^o^

At around 5pm we departed to fetch my hubby's sis from airport. And we jam for 3 hours to reach home =.= We were so tired and lazy to go out dining, so we just cooked maggie mee at home. This is how our christmas eve, haha.

On the 25th, christmas day! Alfred woke up very early in the morning. He woke me up and asked, "mama, why santa claus didn't give me any presents?" He looked disappointedly when he could not find any gift nearby his bed. I felt funny and heart pain to look into his pity face. I asked him to search around the bed, and he found a present at the end of the bed. He was so happy and hugged the gift to sleep again.... kids.... When he woke up again after few hours, he claimed that that was the gift from santa (in fact we are the santa =.=), and was his favourite toy Optimus prime. Bernard saw his brother got gift, he also searched around and got the gift. He was so happy too. It was really enjoyable to see kids' happy face.

On the christmas dinner, we had steamboat at home. Ate a lot on that night, so full.... Ohya, I had decorated a log cake and the kids were so happy to cut it. The left chocolate we made it as chocolate fountain to dip with strawberry, and the two monkeys had finished the whole box of strawberry, sweat.... Anyway, felt proud, haha. That's how my christmas night...

Langkawi Trip 2011

Just back from Langkawi trip on last weekend. It is the first time for me to travel in Langkawi. I love the place, especially the food, haha.

On 19 Nov 2011, we departed from LCCT at 7.30am and reached Langkawi airport at 8.30am. The rate to rent a car is a bit expensive as that weekend was the peak season. The ppl recommended viva for RM180, don't feel it's worth.. So end up we rent a 2-months old car Mazda2 for 3 days.

We started our trip by going to the Telaga Harbour to have sight-seeing and photo taking. The view is nice. Then we went to Oriental Village. But unluckily after half hour, it started to rain. To avoid wasting time, we left and went back to Pulau Cenang to check in hotel. After that, we had our lunch at Red Tomato, a restaurant for western food. We ordered a custom-made pizza with bacon, mushroom and pineapple. We also ordered a bowl of mushroom soup with bread. I like their thin crust pizza, which all the while I think thin crust pizza is not nice.

We went to Underwater park to see penguin. haha, it is shame to say that it is my first time to see real penguin :p they are so cute. The ticket is worth the price as there are many things to see.

We had our dinner at Unkaizan, a well-known japanese restaurant introduced by forum ppl. Yes, the food is so tasty and the service is so good. The japanese waitress gave 2 pieces of cartoon papers for Alfred to spend his time while waiting for the food. Alfred enjoyed it very much. However, the price is expensive haha.

The next day we had the mangrove tour around the Geopark. However, we had realized that we paid more than others for the tour.... Lesson learnt, must compare the price before making any payment. Anyway, the trip is nice for a first timer. They brought us travelling around bat cave, crocodile river, fish farm, eagle feeding, beach swimming and lunch. The most memorable thing was we had "ikan pari" feeding. Alfred and I were feeding the ugly "ikan pari" with hands. The ikan pari won't eat the food if the food is thrown to it. We had to grab the food in our hand and slowly put into the water, then the ikan pari will come and suck the food again. Yes, it won't bite, but it sucks the food like a vacum, haha. Looked scary with the process, but nice experience! In fact, Alfred requested to feed it, and I followed to feed after him, :p

After the 4 hours tour, we went back to hotel to rest for 1 hour and continued exploring in Oriental Village again. Nothing much to see there but had the rabbit feeding and deer feeding which Alfred was so eagerly to feed them since day 1.

At night, we had our seafood dinner at Orchid Ria, a chinese restaurant recommended by the forum ppl again. Yes, the food is so fresh and delicious. We ordered the big lobster which costs us RM90 for one. But since this is the highly recommended dish, so just closed my eyes to order. Beside lobster, we had ordered a plate of sea asparagus, a plate of squid and a plate of vegetable. We spent RM160 for this dinner. Expensive rite? haha, that's y i said "close my eyes" to order.

At night, we had shopping at the duty free shops for chocolate and alcohol drinks. The chocolate and alcohol drinks are so cheap which I was unwilling to buy normal softdrinks and snacks. The 3 days in Langkawi, we had only plain water (from hotel) and beer when thirsty; had chocolate to bite when mouth itchy. :p

The last day, we went to Dataran Lang for photo taking. We managed to buy some angry bird's clothes for alfred and bernard at there also. Alfred had bising to buy that since day 1 =.="" After that, we continued with shopping. We found that the kitchenware in Langkawi is so cheap. I bought a set of Vision glass pots for RM299 in which it was sold for RM499 in jusco melaka. I also bought a stainless steel pan with glass cover for RM139 which I believe in melaka, it costs double.

however, it really made us worry with the luggage weight to travel back to LCCT. Luckily everything is within our estimation and no extra charge charged on us. So fast, the trip had ended. Hope to travel again.

Won a 2 days 1 nite stay !!

Just got to know I have won a 2 days 1 night stay in Hilton Hotel KL Deluxe Suite worth RM1095 from Nuyou Magazine!!! Sooooo happy! I really can't believe my eyes when I saw my name on the screen.... yes, it's me, it's my name, and I received their notification email! Hooray!

This is so unbelieveable as this is the biggest winning I got so far. RM1095 per night, quite a luxury and expensive gift. Seems like it is a xmas gift arrived earlier from the magazine. Thanks! I love it very much. I don't think I would have the chance to stay in such an expensive suite if I am going to pay my own....

This is the 3rd time I won the prizes from Nuyou Magazine! First time I won a set of beauty product worth RM200+. Second time I won a pair of hair shampoo and conditioner worth RM200+. This time a night stay worth RM1095! I still can't believe it is real...

All the while I told my frens that I always lack of the luck to win lottery. Yeah, I think i don't have the "extra money" luck. But one thing comforts me is I may have the luck to win small prizes.... haha. I have the habit to join the contests from magazines like IFeel, Nuyou, Women weekly etc. But it is really lucky that I got it the bigger prize this time! muaks! love you all! haha.

Cutting Hair

It has been a long time i never help Alfred to cut hair.... Bernard? I never cut his hair before.... I sent Alfred to the saloon since 3++ years old, and I sent Bernard tot he saloon since he is born. I was thinking, since I needed to send Bernard to botak his hair in saloon, y not let Alfred to have a new style in saloon... So that day onwards, i kept my scissors and ended the barber's job. haha.

Yesterday I spent the day with the two monkeys at home. Seeing their hair is long, suddenly an idea came to my mind: y not try to cut their hair for them? haha... this is the first time I helped Bernard to cut his hair, and surprisingly he was so good boy to sit there to let me cut. But of course there is something "bomb" happened, which he poured the talc powder to the floor, and all over his body, like he is the fish to be deep fried =.= After that, I helped Alfred to cut his hair, haha.... the result of both: great satisfaction! haha, not too stylish, but neat at least... :))

The Cars

我：因为它是外国人。。
皓皓：不是。。它是外国车。。

Alfred's breakfast

This morning everyone woke up a bit earlier, so francis proposed to bring Alfred to dine out for breakfast. haha, this is happiest thing to Alfred. He likes to have breakfast outside instead of eating man tou or egg at home :p If we had breakfast outside, normally we will go to a roadside stall which sells economy meehoon/meesiam/nasi lemak, and Alfred will always order nasi lemak and add on the luncheon meat and fried egg.

So Alfred was expecting the same place this morning. But francis decided to go to another mee stall to eat wantan mee. Alfred's face is so sour after knowing this decision, haha, he totally can't smile... Then I teased him either want to eat white mee or black mee? he couldn't answer me as hard to decide. The major reason must be he totally don't want to eat mee!! haha.

Lucky that the mee stall was not opened today. So we brought him for the nasi lemak, and he started to smile, haha, kids.... He enjoyed the meal very much, can judge from his expression ^o^ At the end of the meal, he said, "teacher will ask y alfred is so late today? because i am eating nasi lemak"... bomb, he imagined this haha.

A Nice Holidays

Last week we had a one week holidays due to Hari Raya and National day. We had been waiting for long for its arrival. We spent 5 days 4 nights at my sis's new house in KL. My sis was having ROM on last Monday, and my parents and younger sis from Sarawak were able to attend her ROM. Another gathering reason, haha. A wonderful memory on the days in KL with my family. Having a great chat with my sis and parents, having nice dining also, and having group shopping. Yeah, it was indeed nice.

I was a full time mom for these 5 days in KL to bring along my two monkeys. It was also the first time i brought Bernard to KL. Frankly, it was quite tiring to look after them for 5 days. And one thing for sure is I really cannot have a proper meal besides feeding them and settling them. However, got the funny moments too to have kids around. One great gain I had after this trip is, Bernard keeps callling me Mama Mama now, even he got no help to ask for, just simply "manja" to call me... haha. so in my previous post, I complaint that he only will call me whenever he needs help. But now, he will call me anytime, happy!

After the trip, we went back to Melaka. Rest for two days and we departed to JB to my parents in law's house. haha. sounds tiring rite? in fact it is really tiring. haha. One day, we met my hubby's relatives and had a lunch with them. Then we went for shopping with them. However there is a disadvantage of shopping with a big gang of ppl, which the group will be splited very soon. And my hubby's nephew was so happy talking with alfred and following me and my hubby all the way. so that means we brought 3 kids (alfred+bernard+newphew) with two of us. It was very very tiring to bring 3 kids.... I strongly had doubt how come the parents can bring 3 kids or more to go shopping, hahha.....

So today have to back to work. Holidays ended. so fast....

有事叫妈妈，无事叫爸爸

现在佑佑已会叫爸爸妈妈哥哥姐姐。有时还会在那自己唱歌，虽然我不懂他唱什么，哈。人家常说有事钟无艳，无事夏迎春，但佑佑却是有事叫妈妈，无事叫爸爸。 平时他不会叫我的咯，任凭我怎么逼他。他只会看着你叫爸爸，然后对你笑，气炸！ 但如果他要找人求救，他就会妈妈，妈妈地叫我。。。哎。。

Penang Trip

Last Friday we departed to Penang for our fren's wedding in Penang. Thanks to Dave for becoming the driver for the whole journey. On the way to Penang, we stopped at Bidor for the duck mee. The duck soup is delicious but the mee is just a normal wantan mee. There were a lot of ppl, heard that this shop is very popular. A good try in Bidor.

Then we continued our journey to B-Suite hotel in penang, which nearby Queensbay Mall. After resting for about half hour in the hotel, we went to visit Ah Mi who has just delivered her baby. First time visited her new house in PG and her baby. Having a great afternoon with her. I think Alfred was enjoying too, as he was playing with the Angry Bird and Counter Strike =.= Dave said this is an ice breaking session with him, haha.

We left her place in the evening and went to Telok Bayan Food court for dinner. There sold a lot of foods and we tried some, but not as tasty as expected. After that we went to Queensbay Mall jalan-jalan. I bought some liang teh to drink, as the throat was itchy and dry, scared of falling sick.... This is the end of the first day in PG.

The next day after breakfast, we met another group of frens and drove together to the homestay prepared by Phit Huan who had the wedding dinner at that nite. It was quite surprised that the house is big and can accomodate many ppl. The tauke is friendly. We forced him to sing a song when he set the karaoke for us, haha. Clapping hands loudly for him, a fun karaoke afternoon.

In the evening we dressed up leng leng and handsome handsome to attend Phit Huan's wedding. The wedding was nice and the live-band had really done a good job to cheer the environment. Although I was sitting there, but i felt to shake my body, haha. Alfred was yum seng happily and danced happily with my frens, seems like he was mabuk already... it was indeed an enjoyable nite.

The next day morning went to Phit Huan's house to see the ceremony. The sister gang and the brother gang were so "huge", haha. It was funny to see them bullying each other. At around 11am, we were about to leave. It was hard to say byebye to her, as don't know when only we will come to Penang to visit her again. Quite worry that my tears will roll down, but when faced her, i was more worried that she will cry, coz she was the bride that day, it is not good if the make up messed up.... Frankly, I don't dare to look straight into her eyes. Writing till here, starting to miss her so much, aicks.....

So we departed at 11am+ to Melaka. On the way back, we stopped at Ipoh to have the famous chicken rice. Then bought some souvenirs as well. We reached Melaka at around 6.30pm. Phew.... pigu also flat..... haha... the trip is nice although tiring :)

Kenny Rogger吃晚餐

那天皓皓生日，我想弄个鸡腿跟他庆祝，但老公说去外面吃，所以我们就决定到Kenny Rogger吃晚餐。那里有个套餐有两个鸡腿的。为了尊敬皓皓，我就问他。。

我：我们去那里吃鸡腿好吗？

谁知他的回应让我爆笑。。。

皓：那里有饭吗？。。。

他。。。果然很老人。。

5th Wedding anniversary

It has been the 5th wedding anniversary on last saturday. Always the memory brings me back to 4 June 2007. Still remember that year is our 1st anniversary, and I was pregnant by that time. It was out of sudden that after celebrating, the next day I was hospitalized and on 6 June 2007, Alfred had been delivered to my life. Time flies.

Although nothing special in celebrating anniversary, but an enjoyable Saturday we had. So on last saturday, we brought Alfred with us in our plan. We watched Kungfu Panda 2 at noon in gsc cinema. Alfred and I were super excited. It is our favourite movie. Oppss... forgot to tell, before watching movie, we went to McD for a set of Happy Meal for alfred, just becoz of the Kungfu Panda toy :p

After watching movie, we went to Equatorial hotel for High-Tea. With francis's friend's membership, we were granted for 50% discount which is very worth to dine in. As its name, High-Tea but not Buffet, so won't have many choices for hot dishes. But I like their desserts very much... the cakes, the tarts, the puffs, the chocolate lava etc. 3 of us having big stomach after that.

At night, we didn't take our dinner as too full. But we need to feed Alfred for not letting him to get hungry. so after discussion, we went to another McD again, haha. This time we brought Bernard together with us. So we ordered another set of Happy Meal, and got another pattern of kungfu panda toy, yeah! there are another 6 pattterns to be collected soon... yeah!

Hope that everyday is a happy day :D

Sleepless nite

now is 1.07am... my eyes are still big, the processor in my head is still flashing with a lot of memories.... I should have deep sleep now as for usual, but weird, i don't know what keep me from awakening... no caffeine intake just now, no excited feeling just now, nothing special.... but the fact is my eyes are like an owl's.... a lot of memories came into my mind... starting from campus life, to the days of start working, to the years of working, til recently.... a lot of stories, sour or sweet.... a lot of questions flooded into my mind as well.... thinking too much i guess...

close my eyes please... i can't afford to sleep too late... i left another few hours to sleep before 7am tomorrow... i need the energy for the next day's battle... hey miss chong (sorry, i like to call myself miss, haha), sleep ler... one sheep two sheep three sheep.... ba ba black sheep..... oh gosh....

生活

好久没有那么早起身了。。。今天不知为何这么精神，就是不想睡。 一种莫名其妙的失落感突击我，我怎么了。。。 最近的生活总是挤满一大堆的工作，公事，家事，总是有完没完的。是我办事能力下降了吗？或是这就是所谓的越大越多责任？ 虽然每一次负能量侵袭，我总是像超人那样坚强地对抗，只因我不想浪费时间自哎自怜，不想让人看到我柔软的一面。除了逆来顺受我还能做什么。有点累了，责任两个字太沉重，有谁来帮我扛一下吗？是的，该睡了，睡醒后该会是美好的一天吧？至少我没放弃期望。。

No aircond

There have been one week plus which aircond is not working in my office. Should say at the whole 3rd floor. It is really too warm to stay inside the room, like a sauna room maybe. Sweat, sweat and sweat!

Therefore, I ran to downstairs which is my another fren's room at ground floor. The aircond there is so cold, haha, of coz, we stationed there for one week plus becoz of the non-working aircond in 3rd floor. If the aircond is still not functioning, we will station there longer. Quite enjoyable to stay at downstairs with so many frens working together and laughing together (miss the time being a tutor staying in the lab). When working, everyone is serious and there is no sound at all. When joking, hoho, the whole room is full of laughters. Quite confusing sometimes was wishing the aircond is not functioning, so could stay there longer. haha. yes, of coz anytime I could station there, but it would be perfect if there is a perfect excuse for me :p

Now the aircond in my room is functioning, I guess. But could not guarantee the temperature will be continueing later.... Oh, "mou dun" feeling appears again...

A wedding in Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen

Last Saturday, we were attending an indian friend's wedding dinner in IPK (Ibu pejabat polis kontinjen). Inside the police station??!! yes, i really can't believe that I was in a hall of police station and the funniest thing is we were eating nasi briyani with curry, haha.... this time really "eat curry in the police station" :p

The wedding was nicely decorated, quite a grand feeling. Maybe this is the result of hiring a wedding planner? When we saw the environment, haha, the first question i asked my hubby was, "do we need to top up the figure of the angpao?" haha... as initially we thought it would be a simple buffet holding at the dewan. Last time we attended an indian wedding in a badminton court also, and the environment was not nice. Anyway, my hubby said don't panic, we had 4 angpaos with us, hahaha.... as my hubby was helping his friends who were absent to bring their angpaos....

It was a buffet dinner. that means we had to queue for the food.... :p however, the food was quite delicious.

The only bad thing is there were not many ppl turnt out for the dinner. I think around 60% of the attendance. wonder is the venue's matter? haha... or becoz of the public holidays (friday was melaka historical day) so not many ppl is free?

Anyhow, it was quite fun and great experience to realize "eat curry in IPK".... haha, of coz not realize the hidden meaning of the phrase :p

12.4.2011 My birthday

Wonder am I growing older, the feeling towards birthday is not as excited as before. Anyway, still will looking forward for the day to come, to enjoy the priviledge of birthday queen today. ^o^ There is nothing so special this year... the only special i got is..... I am unable to make my list of wishes in time..... only manage to make a general wish.... y? coz Alfred was blowing off the candle while I was making my wish and before I made my list of wishes, the candle was blown. So I quickly grab the few seconds to prioritize my wish..... >.<"""

Last Saturday, three days before my actual birthday, my hubby brought me to Shogun buffet at One Utama for celebration. It has been 2 years I think, never been to One Utama. Not much difference. Japanese buffet is always my favourite. Alfred likes it very much too, haha, like mother like son?

Last Sunday, two day before my actual birthday, we had a morning trip to Farmosa building, haha. In fact, we were waiting for Dataran Pahlawan to open. So while waiting, we went to Farmosa to take some photos. After that, my hubby went to Nadeje to buy my favourite crepe cake. :D

Tuesday, my actual birthday, had a gathering party with my friends in office. Ordered Domino's pizza for the party. Leow, Leeyeng and I were the hosts as 3 of us were the April babies. My lovely friends bought us a Secret Recipe cake. It was a happy afternoon with laughters and foods ^^

With the growth of technology, I received only 3 sms birthday wishes this year. But I got 96 birthday wishes in facebook! I was amazed by the numbers, frankly. I had a blessed birthday.... Thanks everyone... :)

At Tuesday nite, my parents in law were so nice to prepare me "longevity noodles" and a drumstick, haha.... Quite a warm feeling, as I have been long time never celebrate my birthday in traditional way, meaning eating drumstick, red egg etc.... I like the noodles very much, it is yummy....

That were all the happenings for my birthday, sweet and touched birthday.... Thanks thanks thanks! to everyone~~~ muaks!

插花献友

最近有几个要好的朋友都要搬家，真巧。看着他们为了屋子忙来忙去的，想起了当年的我。那时我与老公真的忙到没日没夜，出钱刷卡到怕。但，那时的我肯定是开心的，因为我们将要有属于自己的第一个家。我想啊，我的那几个朋友也是同样的开心，期待，一个自己的家。

看着他们搬家，但我又不知可以帮到什么。我就在想要，或许可以买些东西送给他们。 但又不知送些什么，好头痛。想了几天，终于决定动手插盆花给他们，因为我觉得他们的购物单里暂时应该不会有装饰品（哈，他们应该买家私买到手软。。）

那天跑去买了花瓶，假花，小草，小叶，丝带等，哈，买了好多，有点像贵妇。买到最后我只用手指一点，就有店员帮我把东西放进篮子 ＾＿＾

回到家马上开工。。看图。。３盆不一样的。。

A memorable post written in Year 2006

There is a notification in my email today saying that there is a comment for my friendster blog. The comment made me so curious as I have not update this friendster blog for years. So I visited this blog and I found out the comment is just an advertisement comment. Cheh, nothing special.... But, this gave me a chance to read back what I had written last time. This is a post written in Year 2006 during my Master Convocation. It was so nice to grab back the memories. At the end of the post, there is a short paragraph written in chinese which I think it is nice to share again here....

什么是精彩的人生？怎样才是精彩的人生？有个朋友那样问我。我的人生精彩吗？我想是吧。我不知怎样才算精彩。对我而言，一切事物都顺顺利利，间中有些小惊喜（是惊喜，不是惊吓哦，哈），那就是精彩吧。每天对着心爱的人，陪着彼此，聊聊天，计划着未来，那也是精彩吧。 偶尔一个人享受着一个人的平静，偶尔跟家人聚餐，偶尔跟朋友聚会，无论是大聚还是小聚，只要是开心，温馨的，都是精彩吧。我的人生不需要大起大落，平静也是一种福。

Bernard's growth

Yesterday went to visit a fren who has just delivered a bb and we talked about some bb's topic. This really brings me back to one year ago when I just delivered my second prince Bernard.

Bernard can be considered as a premature bb, as he comes to this world 6 weeks earlier than the expected due. And now, he is 1 yr+ already. Time flies. Still remember when he was born, he was so small and i had to find the smallest clothes for him, and yet the smallest clothes looked like a dress for him, still too long... After that I experienced his first injection which he cried loudly at the moment he was injected. Then experienced his first body's turn when lying on the bed. Then experienced the growing of his first tooth which caused him fever and cirit-birit. After few months, he had his first time in sitting, his first time in standing, his first time in consuming solid food, his first time walking with support and last two months ago he was able to stand without support. And now, he can walk very fast like a porcupine. But sometimes still feel he walks like a penguin (not stable).

Recently he learns where is his head, leg, ears, stomach and mouth. It is funny to see him pointing to the parts i mentioned. He also learns to request Cococrunch from me. I will command him to sit properly if he wants Cococrunch, haha, he will really sit straight (back sticks to the sofa) while waiting his Cococrunch. He now knows to play with his brother, although most of the time they are shouting to each others for toys =.= It is so pleased that to see his growth and what I can say is it is quite enjoyable with great satisfaction to enjoy his growth. Wish both monkeys can love each other and grow up healthily.

Alfred has his botak look

We brought Alfred for a hair cut last few days ago. He was so envy to see his brother Bernard having the short hair like botak look. But I would think it is not suitable for Alfred as he is too thin, wonder he will look skinny or not if botak. After considering quite sometimes and getting some opinions, finally I made up my mind to let him have a try since he is still "small" and outlook might not be important for him, haha. He was so excited after his hair cut. He likes it very much and keeps touching his head. Funny, haha. Now both of the monkeys are in botak look, like little "he2 shang4" now.... See....

Yeah! My prize!

Yeah! It was so excited that I received a parcel today which is from the magazine. It is my prize which I mentioned before. See, this is how the parcel looks like.



It is a set of BeautyMate products worth RM200+. Got to know this product from taiwan entertainment show and magazine, but now it is mine, hoho.... In fact, it is quite excited to get the prize, as I had the habit of sending the contests form in Nuyou magazines all the while, but never win a prize before. Yet, this is my first time from Nuyou magaine :D



The moment i received the parcel, I can't wait to unwrap the parcel. By wasting anytime, I brought Alfred to Secret Recipe to have tea, while waiting for the time to fetch Bernard. See, how excited was he while he ordered his favourite chocolate cake.

class at 8am? hate it.....

Always I hate the class to be scheduled at 8am. Not that I could not wake up. There is no difference for me in terms of wake up time, as I always need to wake up around 7am to get the kids prepared to be sent to school or bbsitter. Then why still I don't like 8am class?

Because... first, I need to wake up earlier than before to prepare myself, haha, normally earlier 20 mins. It makes me struggling to wake up or not to wake up sometimes. secondly, this is the major reason why I dislike 8am class. Coz I need to drive to campus at around 7.45am. This is the time when the road is full of cars!! I hate ler... I need to spend quite some time to wait the junction clear before i could go out of the junction.... There are so so many cars. Then the queue at the traffic light is also long.... Thirdly, I always don't take my breakfast before going to campus when i have 8am class. Coz i scare i will stomachache which would be very embarrasing @.@

I really really don't like 8am classes and yet this trimester I have 2 days having 8am classes in a week!! T.T

Original != Upgrading

Last nite while waiting for Francis to pay for the bread at JJ, Afred and I were sitting at a bench outside the bread shop.

Alfred: Original... Ori..ginal!!
Me: What Original? Where is the word original? (I was searching around for the word)
Alfred: Neh... (pointing at the renovation-in-progress wall)
Me: ......... Where got? I can't find any original word leh.... Luan luan jiang...
Alfred: (he ignored me) original.... original... ori....ginal!

Suddenly a young guy sitting at another bench near to us spoke...
Young guy: Didi, that is not original, there written Upgrading....
Alfred: (look at me and look at him, stare a while with paisei face) ....
Young guy: I teach you to pronounce, Up...gra...ding....
Alfred: ..... (hide his head at my stomach) =.=

Then Francis came and we left. I told Francis the story and both of us laughed.
Me: Gor gor teach you that word should be Upgrading, not original.... are you trying to cheat someone don't know english? hahahhaha.....
Alfred: Original... original... original... original.... (he purposely repeated the word and curi-curi smiled there, kek dao!)

Yeah, win the gift !

Yesterday I received a letter from BluInc, and at the moment i opened it I was wondering what is that. It was a congratulation letter from Nuyou magazine!! haha, saying that I have won a RM240 Beautymate products! wat a surprise to me! Happy~~

But the gift should be collected from their office in Petaling Jaya or may pay RM20 money order to ask them to courier to me. So still need to wait for sometimes before really "touch" the gift, haha. Tomorrow I will fast fast settle the payment and looking forward for it ^^ This is the second time of this year I won some gift from the competitions. The first one is from the Jusco magazine which gave me a set of SKII travel set.... Lucky ^_^ Hope the luck continues....

I am back

It has been quite some time i haven't update my blog, due to my laziness and pack of time.... I am back to work again after the long holidays of CNY.

My CNY was a busy one. I had my reunion dinner with my parents in law family in Melaka during the new year eve. Then FAB and me were back to Sarawak on Nian Chu 2. It was so happy to spend the time in Sarawak. My father bought the long fire crackers and burnt it, so Alfred and Bernard could see what is firecrackers. Haha, yeah, it is illegal, so it is quite hard to see it in Melaka. The two monkeys met the lion dance also. My father had also brought them to "chase lion" around the shoplots =.=" They like it very much.

However it was quite tiring to be a fulltime mom to take care of the monkeys, especially Bernard became very sticky when reached Sarawak. Wonder is due to the new environment or not.

Oh ya, I had to talk about my flight experience recently. Haha... when we were back to sarawak, we used MAS. It really gave us a very pleasant and enjoyable moment. First, the flight is not full, so there are plenty of seats. The air crew was nice that they kept feeding us with food and drinks, got biscuits and orange juice, then the plane meal with ferrero chocolate and drinks, then fresh milk too. The air crew gave my two monkeys some small books. They even gave us a bag of junk foods (many small packs of peanuts and many ferrero chocolate) to bring home. I guessed it worth around rm30+.

However, it was not a good experience for the flight to get us back to KL. We had been stucked in the plane without aircond for around 50 mins. The pilot announced that there were 5 ppl could not board the plane due to the health problem, but unluckily they had deposited their bags into the plane. So the air crew needed some time to extract their bags.... it was so warm in the plane and Bernard was making so much noise >.<

After CNY, it was Valentine Day. In fact, Valentine day is not a very excited event for me. But this year, I was. This is the first Valentine we celebrated outside after 4 years. The past 4 years we had celebrated it at home by cooking the meal ourselves. This year my parents in law could help us to take care the kids. So we finally could go out to celebrate. That day i was badly flu actually. But since it was the chance to go out, I die die also wanna go out. Then i die die wanna eat Alai seafood which Francis said it might make me even sick. I don't dare. We had sotong, bamboo clamp, ikan bakar and kupang which only cost us RM52. After the meal, Francis said it was still early, wanna bring me to a place. And, guess what, we were in a Gui Ling Gao shop. He said need to reduce heat which I consumed just now.... hahahha.... just increase heat and now reduce heat..... My sis said I will be hospitalized after it :p So i had ordered a bowl of Pearl Gui Ling Gao and a cup of teh pahit with medicine powder. God bless, the next morning I was ok..... :p It was weird with the combination, seafood + gui ling gao.... but it was a memorable one for me :D

Bernard's 1st birthday

Today is Bernard's 1st birthday. He is one year old now. Time flies. The scene of admitting to hospital for early delivery for Bernard is still fresh in my mind. How I "bocor" water bag, how I admitted to hospital, how the doctor asked me not to deliver so soon, how I waited in hospital, how I experienced the pain, how I facebook in the ward.....

Last Saturday 15 Jan 2010, we had organized a birthday party for Bernard. It was really a successful and memorable one. Actually i was quite worried last whole week, as it was raining every evening. But it was really amazing that it didn't rain on saturday nite, thanks God! Feel so thankful.

We ordered some vege and non vege dishes for the party. Thanks to ph and my sis for helping out to fry the hotdog and popiah as well as their lovely muffins. Thanks for my friends for coming and made the atmosphere "meriah". Anyway, I think Alfred enjoyed the party more than Bernard, haha.

I ordered a cake from Coffee Bean as the birthday cake. It is a chocolate cake top up with foundant. There are a rabbit and a cow on it. So coinccident that it makes me feel like a cow (Bernard was born in cow's year) is having birthday in rabbit year (2011 is rabbit's year)... :D

Bernard is sleeping now. For sure, he does not know today is his birthday :) I wish (help him to make the wish first) that he can grow up happily and healthily, and be a good boy....
